First, Jeff, I love reading your words. I want to share them. And then I got to the end...put on the full armor of God. The last 10x I've heard my dad speak, 8 of them have been on this passage. And he wrote a book on it, I can send it to you if you want (I'm joking). My dad was a chaplain in the army. So I would like to hear a softer message from you on this.
Thank you for your kind and thoughtful words, as always, Jeff. I am in Denver but was visiting the Cotswolds for the first time with my mom in early September. It’s such a delightful place. I confess that I didn’t notice the kneelers much , but I did remark at all of the detail and care those small parishes contained by their communities over many centuries. And now how most of the footsteps in those old churches are from visitors, not residents. I think of all the life that’s happened in those old places, and what they faced in their world that made them turn to God as we do today. Peace to you.

You can probably guess that my reading of the passage is not going to be a militaristic or bellicose one.
Haha. Yes. I need a different approach to this.
Is your book available for pre order yet? My apologies if you already mentioned this and I missed it.
Thank you so much for sharing your prayer and your heart. You are gifted with sharing the words that will open my heart to God’s constancy.
Thank you Jeff for your words of encouragement and your prayer. As someone who struggles with prayer, it helped.

Praying with you to hold and be held. What a time we are living in.
