I'm almost done listening to the book; I listen in spurts during my work commute. After I listened to the fried rice part, I went home and made fried rice. Ha. The book has been what I've needed for this season. I think it's beautiful.

I had an exchange student for a year and he taught me to make fried rice like your grandmother! 🙏🏼♥️

I’m absolutely salivating at the description of the fan jiu. Definitely the best bits. ♥️

Happy to hear your book tour went well and thanks for torturing those of us who miss Texas BBQ with that photo. I do appreciate so much your meditations for Lent. They have enriched my walk through these days. Many blessings to you and Tristan.

So looking forward to see you in Cary on Sunday. The analogy of the compost pile and the resurrection is brilliant, Jeff. So much gratitude for you and sharing your words with us.

I am so excited! I got to see you in Waco at Fabled Book Store. I have bought your book and cannot wait to start it. A delightful evening and getting to see Tristan in the flesh was a treat as well. Yes, Helbergs is a local favorite of many. Thanks so much for stopping by our little hometown.

Good Soil is fantastic. I read it less than two days and I felt like a good friend was talking to me and telling me about his life. Very meaningful but at the same time not hard to read. Well written and I highly recommend it
