What a fantastic read. sadly, I almost scrolled past it. Thankfully, I am finally getting better at listening to G-D's whisperings, rather than staying strictly to my self made time table.A most tender and profound piece. How fortunate, the young students are receiving these words of wisdom, truth and beauty.
My orchid miraculously bloomed again also! A small reminder that despite my inabilities (I’ve failed many house plants in my lifetime) God truly has the control.
All of this is so beautiful. The lessons of students and the blessing together, though, were so powerful. We are not alone, even when we are far away from people who get it.
Loved this in every way, not only the beautifully written words but the stained glass, orchid and Fozzi reading the “When you are stuck” piece. Thank you Jeff and may Jesus bless you so much more so that you can continue to write these helpful articles.
The topics of these insightful conversations were so spiritually relatable. Thank you for giving me new things to meditate on as I continue to carve out what my faith will be in my 23rd year. I’m in search of encouraging blessings that help me care less about the optics and start leaning fully into divine love.
Everything here from the Corinthians to the Poem to the Orchids and all of the richness inbetween, woven together with divine love. Thank you for the blessing and the gift.
Thank you, Jeff and Kate and Jess. I received this email a couple days ago, but I just read it this morning--which means that the timing was absolutely perfect for me. Thank you all.
this is the third thing i've read today telling me to love my enemies. that, aside from this morning's gospel, telling us that the sun shines on the good and the bad, that the rain falls on the just and the unjust.
and yes, i believe it, because even when i'm filled with doubt, i refuse to succumb to hate.
so thank you jeff, for being so compassionate in the face of all things.
perhaps one day, maybe next week, we can pray, on the road to kyiv, vlad will fall off his horse, and he will have to answer the question "why are you persecuting me?".

Beautiful and helpful. Much needed. Thank you.

I love how you always close your posts with "I'll try to write again soon." Such a classic line between letter writers. Thank you.
Jeff, the stained glass windows are beautiful. Thank you for sharing them
It’s only divine love—patient love, kind love, humble love, self-sacrificial love—that can hold the fractious body together.
It took me a long time to learn this- that human love was not enough. Prayers for the students as they minister to each other

So touched by the students who spoke with you, brave and curious. The blessing is just what I needed to read today, too. Thank you, Jeff. ❤️
